October's Review

It was a crisp, brisk and bustling night about town!  The pumpkins were out, witches, ghosts and scarecrows hung from the lamp posts and once again Tarrytown was the place to be!
Over one hundred pumpkins were decorated, thanks to Mary-Lou and Danielle of the Arts Council (a very welcome return, even if just f
or one night).  The Rec Dept was taken over by ghouls of various descriptions and their 'haunted van' entertained the traffic on Broadway as
they took brave souls to and from the Haunted House in Patriot's Park.
Legends Realty held a great open house complete with Clown an
d popcorn, Whimisies celebrated their 20th anniversary, the boy scouts sold popcorn, the restaurants all had specials, in short the town
was jumping.  Finally, we were happy to get another visit from State Senator Andrea Stewart Cousins and thank her for her continued support of Third Friday!

We are gearing up for another evening of fun and activity in November and will be holding a food drive for Second Harvest - more of that later.  Please keep coming out and enjoying our town and and support our merchants this holiday season!
