Well, the warned of tornado didn't touch down, but we did have quite the lightning show!
Once again Y-Dance hosted a fantastic dance jam. You may have heard a few bars of salsa music on South Washington during a break in the clouds before a particularly loud bolt from the heavens sent everyone back into the YMCA gym.
This month's Y-Dance event featured a live band - Carlos Jiminez and his mambo quintet and they were tremendous!. If you haven't checked out a dance jam yet, make a point of stopping by next month. As you will see from the video below, they are suitable for all ages and skill levels - the kids are welcome to join in, or play off to the sides of the gym as the mood takes them.
Next month's event celebrates 'back to school' and we are hoping for some beautiful weather!
