August 20 - Back to the Future, Steel Passion, 2nd Nature, Free Raffle, more!
August 20's Tarrytown Third Friday will feature our first big screen outdoor movie, with live music and an outdoor dining area!
Back to the Future, 1985's classic action-comedy starring Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly, starts as soon as the sun goes down. McFly is a teenager who accidentally drives a time-traveling sports car back to 1955. When his teenaged mom gets a crush on him, Marty must repair the damage to history by bringing his parents together, and find a way to get Back to the Future! Before the movie, thrill to the skills and spills of a skateboarding demonstration from the folks at 2nd Nature skate shop.
Pick up dinner (or a snack) (or dessert) at your favorite restaurant, ice-cream shop, candy shop, pizza place, hot-dog shop, diner, or sandwich truck and enjoy it in our outdoor dining area. Bring the receipt to A Nu Toy Store (36.5 Main St.) before 9PM on Aug. 20. The winner will be drawn at random at 9PM on the 20th to receive a $25 coupon to any participating Third Friday business. Follow @Tarrytown3rdFri on Twitter for instant notification of the winning name. The winning coupon will be valid until Sep 17, 2010. Change on purchases with $25 prize coupon will be provided at the merchant's discretion.
