May's Third Friday


As Third Friday rolls around again, we are preparing another host of activities, events and offers to delight and entertain!

Activities
Story Teller Jonathan Kruk returns to entertain us with tales of local legend and lore
6:30pm So. Washington St.

Dance Jam - return of The Big Apple Lindy Hoppers! The Lindy Hoppers visited kicked off Y-Dance's dance-jam series in January and are back to share their infectious love of Swing Dance.
Music from 6:30pm instruction begins at 7:00pm, outside the Firehouse.

Free Movie - Ice Age 2, The Meltdown. Before the movie rolls, two of the animators who worked on the movie for Blue Sky Productions will give a behind the scenes look at how the characters and scenes were created. Free ice cream will also be served.
7:00pm on the lawn, First Baptist Church, 56 South Broadway.

Birdhouse Contest - view the entrants and winners in Tarrytown Beautification Foundation's Birdhouse contest. Judinging tonight outside Whimsies

Trash 4 Cash -
We will continue collecting wide mouth yogurt pots and foil drinks containers. These items are reused by Terracycle (www.terracycle.net) and a donation is given to the Foundation for the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns for each item collected.
